Age UK Maidstone is an independent local non-profit charity. We’ve been working in the local community to help older people for 50 years. We have over 70 dedicated staff and over 170 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Maidstone.
We were originally founded in 1957, as Maidstone Older People’s Welfare Committee, and registered as a charity in 1972. Here at Age UK Maidstone, we believe older people are entitled to the help they need to improve their own sense of wellbeing, to promote independence and to have control of their own lives.
Join us every Monday for a chance to meet new people and socialise over a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Everyone is welcome to attend this free social event, you do not need to use any of our other services.
We meet at Sunflower Café, Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH. Every Monday from 10am to 12pm. There is no need to book ahead, just meet us there on the day.
