The Big British Beer Bash v Oktoberfest

Wilkommen to the UK’s ultimate Oktoberfest tour! Oktoberfest returns to Maidstone’s Mote Park on Saturday 3rd October for another authentic Bavarian celebration!
Afternoon Session: 12pm – 5pm
Evening Session: 6pm – 11pm
Oktoberfest is the traditional popular folk festival that is celebrated in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and the end of September and beginning of October. Folk descend to the Beerhall Tent to engage in music, games, entertainment, and food.
Oktoberfest began in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. The celebrations held for the newlyweds were deemed so great by the Royals themselves that they wanted to repeat it every year!
This festival is no different, including:
German food such as Sauerkraut, Pretzel, Schnitzel and more
Live music from an authentic Oompah band
DJ performances
And of course, no Oktoberfest is complete without barrels of Bier being emptied into huge steins!
Oktoberfest is an 18+ event. Challenge 25 age policy applies.
Road Directions
The main Mote Park entrance is accessible from Mote Avenue, this access leads to the main car park which has reserved parking for the disabled.
There is also access for vehicles to a car park on Willington Street (via the Park & Ride entrance) at the North East corner of the park.
The park is also accessible via several pedestrian only points on all sides of the park.
Socially Distanced Event
This year the event is comprised of various areas, which you will spend the duration of the inside.our area is for your group only and will contain pub bench style seating, where you will be provided with table service throughout the event.
Table spaces will be designed and located to ensure social distancing from other parties.
The only time you are permitted to leave your area is to go to the toilet – strictly one person from your table at a time.
All food and drink is ordered and paid for through our event app. Our waiters/waitresses will then bring your orders to you.
If you would like to enjoy the event with more than six people (excluding front row tables of eight), we would advise arriving early and together – our staff will then do their best to position you on tables next to each other but this is not guaranteed.
When arriving at the main entrance, you will be required to queue apart to ensure social distancing – distancing aids will be visible to help.
