Doggy fate day 2021

Doggy Fete Sunday

Are you a dog owner or dog lover looking for a doggy good day out? Then why not attend the doggy fate day at Lockmeadow in Maidstone on Sunday 18th July? Dogs are obviously allowed but no cats please, sorry. However, if you are a cat lover or animal lover and you are wanting to make money and donate it to an animal related charity there is a great opportunity just for you which I will be explaining later in this article.

At Maidstone Radio our lovely presenter Cassie interviewed a wonderful member of Maidstone Borough Council, Alexa the leisure property manager, who told us some of the pup-tacular events that are going to be occurring, from face painting to pawsome food, you are sure to have the ultimutt day out! There will be events also such as Dogs Got No Talent, where the dog who is the less obedient will get a prize- but you are up against tough competition with Alexa’s two Daxons’, Douglas and Peter, so we are told!

You can even get your dog an ice cream (I’m sure they will love a pupsicle or two!) and if needs be you can get help and tips in training your dogs, which is great if you have missed out over lockdown, so you wouldn’t paw-sibly want to miss out, would you? It most definitely sounds pawtastic, fur sure!

Now onto the charity part, or the dalmatians to charity if you will, anyone who is selling items or doing activities for the dogs and raising money for ANY animal charities will be allowed a free stall! If you are just selling your items i.e., selling handmade dog jumpers where you keep the money, a stall will be just £10! Please contact Alexa on 07792303598 or contact Maidstone market or the Lockmeadow Facebook groups.

Additionally, some of our rebarkable presenters will be appearing at the market and broadcasting from there so please come and say hello and meet them I pawmise you they do not bite, and you will not regret it at all- they are all pawtastic!

The event will be occurring from 11am to 3pm, so dog not miss out!

Thank you furry much for reading this article.
