The Met Office has issued two thunderstorm warnings for Monday and Tuesday, after a scorching heatwave over the weekend.

The yellow weather warning follows on from three days of temperatures reaching above 30°c and will come into force on 00:00 on Monday. However it is uncertain exactly when the thunderstorm occurs. Met Office have issued the same warning through to Tuesday night and the warning covers the whole of the UK but experts admit the exact location is also unknown.
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes and large hail.
