Record of the Week: 16-22 January: SPINNER

Our Record of the Week is from the Kent based band SPINNER and called “Now Or Never”

Hailing from Sittingbourne, SPINNER is an 5-piece Modern British Rock band in the making, offering a multi-layered retro-modern sound. Their music spans the decades, with an inspired blend of garage rock, blues and psychedelia from the 60’s through to the modern day.

The brainchild of singer songwriter Sammie Harris, this incarnation of the band, debuted their massive stadium-filling sound in July 2021 at the award winning touring venue of The Waterloo Music Bar, in Blackpool, have been featured in two British film releases in 2021 (To Be Someone and The Pebble and the Boy) and provided the musical entertainment for the Kent leg of “An Evening with Shaun Ryder” tour.

2022 has seen SPINNER playing at a number of successful events: the Maidstone Foodies Festival, Gravesham Riverside Festival and headlining at Marshfest, Smithfest and some exclusive private events. SPINNER also performed three unique set across three stages at Faversham Hop Festival.

SPINNER has been back in the studio to record some brand new music and is gig-ready to perform their originals sets for audiences across Kent and the UK.
